In September 2019, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) selected a team led by NUMARK as a qualified contractor under its “Energy II” Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (Energy II IDIQ) program. Contractors under the Energy II IDIQ are to provide expert technical assistance to a wide array of stakeholders worldwide addressing four priority themes: Clean Energy, Energy Poverty, Energy Sector Governance and Reform, and Energy Security. Contractors will work with USAID missions, regional bureaus, host-country stakeholders, private sector partners, and local communities, with a particular focus on building the capacity of national counterparts to deliver modern energy services in their countries.
NUMARK’s team for this contract includes four large firms (Crown Agents USA, DAI Global, Jacobs Engineering, and Training Resources Group) and five specialized small-business firms in addition to NUMARK (Boreal Renewable Energy, Energy and Security Group, Potomac Economics, Sustainable Capital Advisors, and TSS Consultants), offering USAID a wealth of international development experience and expertise to be delivered under NUMARK leadership.
Our team brings wide-ranging experience and capabilities in planning, implementing, and managing energy sector projects domestically and around the world. NUMARK brings extensive experience managing large, complex IDIQ contracts in the energy, environmental, and safety areas. The team also offers a wealth of resources in grants management, human resources, gender engagement, procurement management, communications, training, monitoring and evaluation, financial modeling, electricity markets, and clean energy technologies.
Collectively, the NUMARK Team has promoted and led efforts to increase access to energy for over two decades, having worked in 130 countries on numerous energy development projects and having implemented over 1,000 USAID-supported projects. Our team’s extensive international footprint means capability for rapid deployment and familiarity with local experts, languages, and cultures. This enables fast and effective support to USAID missions, regional bureaus, host-country stakeholders, private sector partners, and local communities.
