NUMARK Broadens Technical Support Services to US Nuclear Regulatory Commission
September 17, 2014 -- NUMARK Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce its selection by the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for two "Enterprise-Wide" Contracts to provide technical assistance in support of NRC Environmental and Reactor Programs. The awards were the result of a competitive solicitation.
Both contracts awarded to NUMARK are Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts. One contract is a Small Business Set-Aside, with a shared ceiling of $50 million between NUMARK and two other contractors. The second is Unrestricted, with a shared ceiling of $200 million between NUMARK and two other contractors.
The two contracts were awarded in August 2014 and have five year terms. NUMARK will be supporting NRC under these contracts together with a team of US and international subcontractors.
NUMARK, founded in 1991, has provided technical support services to NRC since 2007, primarily assisting NRC with safety and environmental reviews associated with the licensing of new nuclear power plants. Besides its work for NRC, NUMARK supports public and private sector clients in the US and around the world in the areas of nuclear safety, environmental protection and sustainable energy strategies.
