Poland’s Państwowa Agencja Atomistyki (PAA) Approves NUMARK as an Authorized Technical Support Organization
December 6, 2023 – Poland’s Państwowa Agencja Atomistyki (PAA) announced that it has granted authorization to NUMARK to serve as a Technical Support Organization (TSO) to assist PAA in the licensing and oversight of prospective nuclear power plants in Poland. At this time, NUMARK has received authorization to provide services to PAA in the following areas:
- Deterministic safety analysis of anticipated operational occurrences and design basis accidents in nuclear power plants
- Determination of postulated initiating events and verification of their categorization and grouping for nuclear power plant safety analyses
